Scope

This week we kept on working on our tool to obtain the average of element for projects that have at least completed Bygghandlingar phase. Unfortunately we realised that the template we had planned was not only too complicated to compute and read but was also missing crucial elements.

Indeed we were trying to export from the Revit model a single workbook per project. This latter would have had a worksheet per level containing all the different categories and their different types and dimensions which would have accounted for more than 200 columns per worksheets. Furthermore, some of the information (i.e. the level elevation) was repeated a great number of time.

Therefore we had to stop the development of that tool to rethink our strategy and the final outcome of it. This tool is conceived in order to,
in early stages, replace missing data by their average. Which means that we should directly export this average per category and types. That is why we are now planning to export a workbook per level that contains a different worksheets for :
